The IDO was set up to facilitate the dissemination of our research findings from various research centers to industry. We organise conferences and forums to foster the exchange of knowledge and experience between academics and practitioners. We invite academics and industry leaders to share the latest SCM trends at these events.
We offer public and tailor-made executive training programmes to companies in HK and mainland China, and also conduct joint training programmes with professional organisations and universities.
To communicate our knowledge of SCM to industry, the IDO publishes business cases with the support of companies that choose to share the problems they have faced and the solutions they adopted. Companies such as Dah Chong Hong, Emerson Network Power and Shaanxi Heavy Truck have supported us by providing much valuable information and presenting the best practices they have adopted.
