Center for Logistics Technologies and Supply Chain Optimization (LOGITSCO)

The Center for Logistics Technologies and Supply Chain Optimization (LOGISTCO) concentrates the talent in CUHK’s Faculty of Engineering to conduct basic and applied research on logistics/supply management technologies with the purpose of improving competitiveness and sustaining the leadership position of the industry. The Center is supported by the Asian Institute of Supply Chains and Logistics. The Center’s research work receives funding from the General Research Fund (GRF) of the Research Grant Council, the Innovation and Technology Fund (ITF) of the Innovation and Technology Commission, and from service contracts, among other sources. Our researchers have published papers in internationally renowned journals such as Management Science, Operations Research, Production and Operations Management, IIE Transactions, the European Journal of Operational Research, Naval Research Logistics, the Journal of Supply Chain Management and the Journal of Business Logistics. Our applied research efforts have resulted in the implementation of solutions and/or systems in airports, museums, elderly homes and more.
